Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 29, 2026
SlowLine Art Room was built for artists who learn in different ways, and that includes how people use this website. We want everyone to be able to find information, learn about our classes and get in touch with Steff.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make websites easier to use for people with disabilities, including people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have motor, learning or cognitive differences.
What we have done
- The site works with a keyboard, and a “Skip to content” link appears at the top of each page.
- Text and buttons use strong colour contrast, and pages have a clear heading structure.
- Steff’s artwork has text descriptions for screen readers.
- Animations are slow and gentle, they can be paused, and they stop if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Pages work on phones, tablets and computers, and you can zoom in without losing content.
- An accessibility settings button (bottom left of every page) lets you turn on larger text, higher contrast, underlined links, a simpler font, or stop animations.
Known limits
- Some of Steff’s artwork includes handwritten notes. We describe the key points in the text around the image or in its description.
- Some content comes from other services, such as social media sites and video meeting platforms. We choose services with good accessibility, but we do not control them.
We keep testing and improving the site.
Classes
Every student starts with an intro meeting, so you can tell Steff what helps you learn best. Classes are small, and Steff adjusts how she teaches to fit each artist.
Tell us what is not working
If something on this site is hard to use, or you need information in another format, please contact us. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will do our best to fix it or get you the information another way.
