SlowLine Art Room (“SlowLine,” “we,” “us”) offers live, online animation drawing classes taught by Steff Farrar. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
What we collect
Information you send us. When you use our contact form or sign up for an intro meeting, we receive your name, email address, phone number (if you give it) and your message.
Enrolment details. When you enrol in a class, we collect what we need to register you, such as your name, contact details and the course you chose. If a parent or caregiver enrols a student, we collect the parent’s or caregiver’s details too.
Payments. Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number.
Website usage. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the site, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors are located. This information is grouped and does not tell us who you are.
Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
How we use it
To reply to your questions and arrange intro meetings.
To register students, run classes and send class-related messages.
To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
To keep the site secure and prevent spam.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies and your choices
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. If you choose “No thanks,” Google Analytics does not run and the site works the same. Your choice is saved in your browser so we do not ask again.
The accessibility settings on this site (such as larger text) are also saved in your browser. They stay on your device and are not sent to us.
Who we share it with
We share information only with services that help us run SlowLine, and only as needed:
Our website host, which stores the site and its data.
Our email and scheduling tools, to send and receive messages and book meetings.
Our video meeting platform, to run live online classes.
Our payment provider, to process payments.
Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
Google Fonts, which provides some of the fonts on this site. Your browser connects to Google’s servers to load them, which shares your IP address with Google.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Students under 18
Our classes are for teens and adults. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. For students under 18, we ask that a parent or caregiver handles enrolment and is included in communication.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and enrolment records only as long as we need them to run classes, keep reasonable business records and meet legal requirements. Then we delete them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including California, Canada, the UK and the EU, you may have the right to:
Ask what personal information we hold about you.
Ask us to correct or delete it.
Withdraw your consent, such as for analytics cookies.
Complain to your local privacy authority.
To make a request, contact us. We will reply within 30 days.
